Commodore's Corner...

 

It is the time of year for the changing of the guard.  After being duly elected in January, I have now taken the helm at SAYRA, as Commodore Martine Zurinskas’ term ended on October 31.  Those are some big shoes to fill!  Thank you, Martine, for leading SAYRA for the past two years.

 

Many of you already know me, but for those who don’t, I am a 30-year member and Past Commodore of Lake Norman Yacht Club (north of Charlotte), an avid racer, and a 20+ year member of SAYRA.  I have spent 13 of those years as a member of the SAYRA Executive Committee, in various roles, and am looking forward to serving our members in my new role as Commodore. Continued...
