Interested in your club hosting a 2018 Grand Prix event - HERE!

2017 was an overhaul year for the SAYRA Jr Grand Prix Championships. We are pleased to report, we had increased participation at most of our events fostering more travel and sailing in the SAYRA area. The complete list of winners and participants can be found HERE

In order to facilitate the discussions at the 2018 SAYRA Jr Committee meeting scheduled for January 27th, clubs that are interested in hosting a SAYRA Jr Grand Prix event please complete a bid application and return to Jr Committee before January 15th. Bid application is only a submission of intent, not that you will actually host. BID application HERE. Please only submit one application per club (ie: we don't need 4 people submitting bids for the same event).  The NOR for this years series is listed here. Please take a moment to review and understand clearly the responsibilities for hosting.
Our goal is to review the applications, consolidate all submissions into a spreadsheet prior to the meeting January 27. In 2017, we limited the # of events to 6, best 3 with 1 salt and 1 fresh requirement, working to avoid major regional championships. We also want to foster the growth of C420 was Spin and Trapeze sailing so that we can develop competitive teams for the US Sailing Championships. Recognizing that High School sailing is already very active/competitive with a non-spin component.
Deadline for clubs to submit is January 15th, Club must have representative in attendance at the Annual Meeting, Jr. Committee meeting Saturday January 27th.
