Who We Are - South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association

We are sailors and one design boat racers from Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. We welcome all yacht clubs, sailing clubs, one design fleets, college and high school sailing teams, racing /cruising associations, dinghy sailors, big boat sailors and crew, and individuals to join. We sponsor races, clinics, regattas, championships, provide certified race officials, offer training in race management and other sailing activities.

2023 is in full swing with many clubs having season opening events traditionally known as the "commissioning" marks the beginning of the sailing season. I pause to reflect on all the hard work and dedication by those that have gone before us in leadership at clubs, community organizations and SAYRA, thank you for charting our course.
