2021 Savannah Yacht Club Wassaw Cup Regatta registration and NOR are now available on Regatta Network. This event is part of the SAYRA PHRF Offshore Championship and will be held on Saturday, May 15th and Sunday, May 16th.

 

In addition to the Wassaw Cup Regatta, the Savannah Yacht Club will be hosting a Speaker Series with around the world solo sailor Donald Alexander. The event will take place at the Savannah Yacht Club Dock House on Thursday, May 13th at 6:00PM. Food and beverage will be provided to those who attend. The event is welcome to all sailors of local and regional clubs. Even if you are unable to participate in the Wassaw Cup Regatta, you are welcome to attend the Speaker Series. The intent of this event is to get local sailor together for some much-needed fellowship. Clubs will have the opportunity to promote their local open regattas and listen to Donald Alexander tell his story about sailing speaking about his recent participation in the 3,500 nautical mile Route du Rhum solo race from St Malo, France to Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, as well as many other adventures!
