Organizing a Race Management Seminar

It is very easy to schedule a seminar.  US Sailing details the steps on the ussailing.org website.   You will see that the first steps are to identify an instructor and get the authorization from the Area D Race Officer.  Next, you will want to calculate the event cost and then submit the application to get the seminar on the calendar.

1. Contact the SAYRA Race Management Chair to review dates and instructor availability.
   1. Select Date
   2. Confirm Instructor
   3. Get ARO approval
2. Go to ussailing.org
3. Click on Racing - Race Officials
4. Run the Seminar Cost Calculator to determine class fee.
5. Click on Host a Seminar and complete the form.
