Hands-On Safety at Sea Training

Hands-On Safety at Sea Training demand for certificates is at an all-time high! As we get back into the swing of things prior to the upcoming season and with big offshore races on the calendar, we are looking for hosts for courses across the country. Demand will outpace course availability. You can help!

Please consider hosting two “hands-on,” one-day courses back-to-back to help sailors complete training for their International Offshore Safety at Sea Certificates with hands-on training that meets World Sailing Guidelines. We are looking for Host Organizers for courses to run this spring, through the summer/fall and into 2023. If your organization is interested in hosting a Safety at Sea Course,

Welcome Chatham Sailing Club

Chatham Sailing Club was formed in 2009 by, and for, sailors in the Savannah, Georgia area to fill in the gaps between existing sailing clubs schedules. By doing so we hope to provide sailors of all ages the opportunity to participate in sailing activities including racing, cruising, social events, and regattas according to their own busy schedules. In addition, we will provide a physical location on the water to host activities and provide our members with a clubhouse and dock space to use under terms set forth by the board. By having this location, we hope to increase participation in the Savannah area. Chatham Sailing Club is a 100% volunteer-based organization. Website: www.chathamsailing.org
