SAYRA e-newsletter March 2021

Greetings from the Helm,

It was a year ago that I participated in my last Covid Free Regatta… new words that are now used… social distance; mask on; zoom competitors’ meetings; the new normal.

Today there is a lot of positive news on opening back up; vaccine rollouts; regattas and club commissioning are happening. We have learned a lot which I think will make us stronger, how to market and have conversations via zoom, strong family, and local events. Make sure you get your events on the SAYRA Calendar and look to see what get things are happing in our area.

I would like to thank Windy Key for taking on the head of the Helen Hanley Fundshe takes over from David Reddaway; thank you David for your service to SAYRA!

Stay safe, if I can do anything for you, or your club please reach out to me.
Pete Marriott, SAYRA Commodore
