Thank you to everyone who is out supporting sailing this summer... volunteering on shore, on the water, supporting our youth programs, hitting the regatta circuit, sailing at your local club and most of all just enjoying sailing.  It is a busy summer season - we apologize for the delay in the newsletter.  Get out and be a part of the sailing fun! SAYRA Club Championship Sept 14th- Countdown is on to see what club will top the leaderboards for 2019!  4 teams have registered - Lake Lanier SC, Lake Norman SC, Augusta SC, LaserD12! More information HERE


 

On 23-24 August 2019, the Skidaway Island Boating Club (SIBC) and the Yacht Club of Hilton Head (YCHHI) will present the 2019 Low Country Hook Ocean Race from Harbour Town to Skidaway Island.  As in previous years, sailors will enjoy dinner and drinks at Harbour Town Yacht Club following the skippers' meeting on Friday evening.  After the exhilaration of an ocean race starting at Hilton Head Island sailing past Tybee Island through Wassaw Sound and a finish at Skidaway Island, sailors will enjoy drinks, dinner, and awards at Landings Harbor Marina as they share their ocean race experiences with each other.
