The Lowcountry Regatta is our largest regatta of the year and has achieved regional notoriety for its excellent racing, entertainment, socials, and welcoming southern hospitality.

REGISTRATION

Multiple racecourses accommodate different classes, including dinghies and PHRF boats, and adults and juniors. Participants frequently camp on the BYSC grounds. Classes: VX1, Laser (all rigs), MC Scow, Sunfish, JY-15, 420’s, O'Pen Skiff, Optimist (Green, RWB), SIOD, Lightning, Snipe, Y Flyer, Highlander.

Hobcaw Yacht Club Regatta

Hobcaw Yacht Club will hold our 60TH ANNUAL Regatta the weekend of July 8-10, 2022!

The pool will be open with food trucks on site and live music throughout the weekend. The tiki bar will be open Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You won’t want to miss the main event of the weekend, when we celebrate 60 YEARS of the Hobcaw Regatta with a Fish Fry, Fireworks Show and Band Party featuring local favorites EAST COAST PARTY BAND! Carolina Yacht Club SC Invitational Regatta

July 30-31 - CYCSC will host the CYCSC Invitational Regatta gathering 250 competitors from the entire southeast. ILCA, Lightening, E-Scow, Sea Island One Design, Club 420, O'pen Skiff, and Optis are just a few of the many one design classes that come to race in this regatta. Our annual Commodore's Reception is held on Saturday night and is always a spectacular event for both members and competitors.
